When a place is historically rich, activities abound, and that is the case with this state that was once home to the Quakers and is home to the city of Philadelphia, which was and still is one of the major cities in the nation. With tourism being one of the main industries of the state, Pennsylvania boasts unique locations such as the Liberty Bell and the Independence Hall, where all of the important documents - the Declaration of Independence, the Articles of Confederation and the Constitution - were signed. Also, like any other center of tourist activity, the museums are also central attractions, especially the Philadelphia Museum of Art which have exhibited famous works of artists such as Paul Cezanne and Salvador Dali. The numerous art schools and colleges of the state go hand in hand with the state's bountiful cultural activities, and students will find a consistent flow of performances and exhibitions flocking to this eastern state.
